Collaborating with the Baltimore School for the Arts Film Department, I developed a series of concepts to transform their space into a dynamic, inspiring environment for students. The goal was to create a design that fostered creativity, engagement, and a sense of ownership among the students.
The process involved working closely with the department head, touring the school to understand its culture and student experience, and conducting site assessments—including photography and measurements—to evaluate spatial constraints. Through multiple rounds of ideation and client collaboration, we refined the concept to align with both creative vision and practical limitations. Given school safety regulations preventing changes to flooring and ceiling elements, I strategically selected a color palette that felt vibrant yet complementary to the existing space, ensuring a cohesive and energetic final design.
